Sleep and Meds

depakote 500mg and vistaril 25mg  Now Im not sleeping very well at all is there something I can do? And has affected my sex drive to almost nothing.

Yes there are things you can do. You can tell the doctor that put you on those particular meds, of your side effects, I believe one should continue taking their meds till they discuss the side effects with the doctor, and if one would choose to go off their medication to inform the doctor before they do.

You could discuss available options with your psychiatrist. Depakoate is generally sedating. It might be the other medication you are taking and it would depend on what it is being prescribed for as to what else would work. You could discuss all this with your psychiatrist and they could adjust and/or change your medication within their discretion.
