Greetings! I just found this site a few days ago and just now discovered this forum. My name is Lydia, and I am Bipolar II, GAD and a bit OCD. I know, it's a mouthful, right! Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and give a big "hello" to everyone.

Just one little comment. One made to me when I was first new to the bipolar thing. You say 'I am Bipolar'. It is a subtle way to stigmatize yourself. You would never say "I am cancer". You have bipolar. It is an illness and not a statement of self.

I have Bipolar 2, Fibromyalgia, and GAD.

Yeah, unfortunately bp seems to drag a lot of other side-illnesses with it.

It's I also am BP II, GAD, but also signs of Schizoid personality. I think everyone of us has more than one diagnosis.
