If my comment seemed too harsh to anyone I'm sorry, but I'm living the same kind of life she is.  My husband has never been dx as bipolar, but he has been dx with bad depression and he won't take his meds b/c he said they affect his memory.  Well, instead of asking for a different one, he just says he's fine and doesn't need them.  He is SO very very wrong.  Oddly enough my husband and I have been together just over 10 years.  I'm as sick of it as you are.  He is either too tired to pay attention or he's looking at me like he can't stand me.  Sick to death of it.  I feel for you honey.

Does your husband go to counseling or a psychiatrist. Sounds like he needs some meds to calm him down. Unforunately my husband and I had the same problems for about 6 months and finally recently calmed down with An antidepressent called Celexa. I am much better. Having some problems with mild mood swings that my husband has been able to calm me down before it gets out of control. Don't give up on him, keep working with him and see what happens.

Serequel really helped me. I have ADHD too so after 4 months on Serequel, they put me on Strattera first. I still seemed spaced out. Then I begged for Adderall after taking 3 30mg for 3 days my girlfriend got for me as a test. The Adderall has made me a different person. I use to be called ADD boy by my friends parents. LOL The only thing I have to watch is my blood pressure. I'm 42 and the adderall has the reverse affect as that of a normal person. It calms and focuses me. Go and read what others say about it. Many don't like it but I do. No anxiety from Serequel and focus and staying on task with the Adderall and Strattera.

Good luck,

Tigger

Tell him the truth.  If he doesn't wake up and get the help he needs to manage the bipolar you're outta there.  Maybe it will wake him up and make him want to be well.
