need guidence please- need someone to talk to.

I feel like I am going crazy. I am a none mediated rapid cycling bipolar. I have had it for about 6 years, well that is why I have been diagnosed. I have had control of it but have slowly lost it.

I moved home with my parents. I had my son in October and four days later my husband was killed. The stress was over welming and I have been holding it together. My manics are becoming unbearable. Staying awake for 86+ hours with less than three hours of sleep. Starting to see shadows and hear things when I am up for this long and feel incompetent and terrified about fainting while taking care of my son.. I have tried all my normal.. tylenol pms.. warm baths.. calming teas.. milk.. turning off everything and laying in bed for hours. Nothing! Not even an ambian knocked me out!

I just saw a therapist and came out feeling worse.

Hello again, did you read our responses to your last post on here? Are you still taking the Wellbutrin? I think this is what is keeping you manic hun..
I agree with what the others have said, I think it's time you saw a doctor and got some help, for the sake of you and your son, you have been through so much, it is not suprising that you feel out of control..
It might only be some short term help you need, maybe just 6 months to a year, its nothing to be ashamed of and is not a sign of failure..nobody will think you are a bad parent...but if you don't do anything and get this under control who knows what could happen..
A mood stabiliser would keep your moods in the middle and you would feel so much better!
Your mind needs a rest, it will help with the trauma's you have been through, and having a baby can be a trigger with Bipolar too..
I hope you will get some help, could your therapist put you in touch with a good doctor?

You might want to discuss meds, proper meds with your doc, sometimes its the only thing that really works.

I know what you're going through, I have the same ordeal as you. I always use my energy for something, like alphabetizing the spice rack at 2AM, lol. I know it's not funny, but like you, I don't know what to do about it, so I try to make the best of it. I also am not medicated, and I'm pregnant, so my bipolar has been insaneness lately. I've recently started learning about meditation and I'm going to try that with yoga. Maybe that could help you too?

First, I am so sorry about your husband.

Maybe it is time you go to your local crisis center and seek help. If you have a crisis center that is.....or you can call NAMI...

Im sorry about whats happening and I hope you feel better soon. Hugs-Bradain
