how good is quetiapine for bipolar without a mood stabiliser
I find since I've been on seroquel/ lamictal that I haven't had a manic outbreak in over 2 years. I use to take seroquel alone & had several outbreaks one after another. For me the combination works!

I haven't heard of it being used a lot without a mood stabilizer, but it is always best to go with the least amount of drugs possible to control the mood swings.
Seroquel is an antipsychotic which is often used as a mood stabilizer. But, many people also require additional. Seroquel is used by a lot of people for bipolar.
