I would love to hear any feedback of your experiences on this drug.I was taking it and had horrible side effects please see my previous post. I was curious if they're any anti phycotics that don't cause weight gain,etc thanks.

I'm sorry you had such a bad time, but the truth is that most people who take these drugs do not get such bad side effects.

Unfortunately, all antipsychotics *can* cause weight gain and metabolic issues, but Abilify and Geodon are less likely to.  I hear anecdotally that Saphris and Latuda (newer antipsychotics) also tend to come with less weight gain, although they are still brand only and very expensive if you don't have good insurance coverage.

       I read your other post and i'm sorry to hear of your trouble's with Seroquel . I myself had some issue's with Seroquel XR especially when comming off the stuff , I'm on the normal stuff now  along with Lithium and and a vitamin regime which help's with sleep and if i were'nt on it i probably could not eat . In saying that i don't eat all day until  after i take my med's at 7 in the evening that kinda suck's and coudn't be to healthy but that's the way it is for me . I have to admit the dose i'm on doesn't help the best with pyschosis but as long as my mood's relatively stable i can do with that .
