Need Friends with Bipolar, support!!

I asked for friends on these boards and got an overwhelming response but I was in the wrong forum. I'm Bipolar and lack support. I'm joing some groups in my area but I would love to have someone to write or speak to. If you've been there and gotten your life back, please leet me know how you did it.

thats probably a good idea to get stable before you leave him give the meds  time to work It takes 4-6 weeks for the meds to really do their thing. but be sure to have your thyroid checked while on the lithium Lithium destroys thryoids so it is bst to have it checked and it is good to have it checked anyway because malfunctioning thyroids will mimic bi polar.

I am getting a good education lately. I have 2 major issues. They don't have the meds right yet (hence my screen name) and no support at home. Husband could care less. I am going to leave him but I think I need to be stabelized first or I'll never be able to pull off a move. The stress in this house is too much for anyone. he's an angy man, no friends, and probably needs meds too.
I have family in Ohio but I'll never be able to leave the state with my son. he said he would fight me until I was broke and living in the streets.
But enough complaining, I'm dealing on Geodon and Lithium as of 1 week ago so it;s too soon to tell if it will work but I can't give up and life could always be worse. I'm just going to say my prayers now and ask god to take it for me.

Hi there I am bi polar stable now on celexa and zyprexa for 7 years and lots of therapy.I also educated myself as much as I could about how to be healthy and beat bipolar.Oh and my family has helped me tons I am very lucky to be so loved.
