She definitely took it within the time frame; however, the longer a person waits, the greater the chance Plan B could fail to work. However, she should be fine as long as she was taking the pill at the same time every day and didn't miss before. Did she take the last active pill as soon as she remembered like you're supposed to?
Anyway, the chances are small. Make sure she is relaxed and not stressed out. That can delay a woman's period. I know whenever I've had a pregnancy scare, my period usually came a day or two later than usual. Also, if she's sick/getting sick, sometimes it can be delayed. And Plan B also affects menstruation. Have her continue with her birth control as normal and continue using protection, but if she doesn't get a period at the end of that pack, have her take a test.
Well, no she didn't take the VERY last "active" pill which would be pill number 21 to be exact. She was about to take it but she dropped it and couldn't find it that Saturday after we had unprotected sex earlier that night around midnight, though she told me she didn't miss any of her previous pill that month and also the previous months.
She is really good at taker her BC and almost always at the same time. So she didn't tell me this until Sunday night, she didn't think it was a big deal but she freaked out cause she normally sees her period like +/-48 hours right after she stops taking her active pills. She normally gets her period like two to three days after she stops taking them which is worrying me now because it's almost Friday now and she just took the plan B on Monday evening during the 72 hour time frame.
She is under alot of stress at the moment with her school and such but she told me even in the past when she was under alot of stress she would always get her period right on the dot with no delay.
