Nuva Ring

On Sunday, November 19 i began using the nuva ring as a birth control contraseptive. I was using an oral birth control but caused me to experience a very painful ovarian cyst burst. Today is Monday November 20th and tonight i had sex with my boyfriend, which i do quite frequently, like every day, and i experienced some light bleeding. Is this normal and all in my head?
