Sex on pill-free days

Can I get pregnant if I had sex on my pill free days and did not start another pack?

It's hard to say when it will start again, it's different for everyone. But you should wait until it starts and take it the right way from the start. That means starting either the first day of your period or the Sunday after it starts. And take it every day at the same time. Otherwise it won't do much good if you're not taking it right.

Thanks Chima7. How long will I wait for my period to start again? And is it OK to start taking pills again?

Yes you may not get on a regular schedule again after quitting the pill because your hormones need time to level off after having taken the pill and then quitting.

Thanks for your reply. Is it possible that my period might be late since I stopped taking pills?

Yes, if you ovulated 3-5 days later.
