bleeding on seasonique

I've only been taking seasonique for 7 weeks today. The slip I got with the pills said to take the 1st pill on the Sunday after you start your period, even if you are still bleeding. I did that and sense than I haven't stopped bleeding. It's going on 8 weeks of continuous bleeding. Some days its light, some days its..not so light. So i guess my question is have anybody else experienced this long of bleeding after starting seasonique? My Dr said it could be because my body can't handle the amount of hormones the pill has or my body is still just getting use to it.

I will have to agree with your Dr. It happened to me and i think it was because my body couldn't handle so i stopped because I couldn't deal with a constant period. I would recommend nuva ring if you want as little side effects as possible.

I agree talk to your doctor they will be able to help you and may know what is going on. I have been on seasonique for almost two whole years now and I have had some bleeding now and then or spotting from my body not being used to going so long without a period but that was normal, it sounds like something else may be going on with your body and it may just be that you need a different medication.
