Birth Control question

I been on birth control pills for 5 years, about a year ago the doctor switched my birth control pills to a lower dose due to my blood pressure, while im on the pills my period pretty much came when it was suppose to, but starting last month it was a week late very light and this month its already a week late and no sign.. there has been no change in anything beside now im on 3 times of alllergy pills, my question is, is this normal? why all of a sudden my period is acting like this? is it the allergy pills? is something wrong
