Yes, birth control pills are generally a safe form of contraception and not taking it if you need it for birth control would not be wise. They do not interfere with your future ability to conceive/ your fertility at all, the above is not correct.

If you would read the package insert that came with the pills you would see that breakthrough bleeding is a common and expected side effect of being on the pill. It doesn't matter how long you've been on it, it can happen whenever and it doesn't mean anything. It can happen frequently in women who miss pills or take them late also.
Either way, it has nothing to do with pregnancy.

omg...stop taking bith controll..jc...they can damage your reproductive ability...in you case it seems like they did it...use other methods..avoid bith control pills...
