I started ortho tri -cyclen lo birthcontrol and i only took the 4th pill and husband and i had intercorse and his sperm went in me by acident can i be pregnant? I I only been on the pill for 4 days?
You do not have to wait any specific time before this pill will take effect. It starts immediately. I took it for years and recently just started taking it again after I had my first child. It recommends that you use a back up for the first little bit until you get used to taking the pill just in case you forget. However, the pill is not 100 % effective so keep that in mind.
