Can you have a period while your on the pill when your not supposed to?

Hi I am on the pill, and I had forgotten to take it on saturday. But I took it early sunday morning. Well on that saturday that i had forgotten to take my pill we had sex and he came in me. I also am experiencing some excessive bleeding, while according to my pills my period is not due for another two weeks. And I have forgotten my pill before and then took it the next morning and this never happened before. SO i was just wondering if this could be my period, or if it might be because i am pregnant? or what would cause this to happen? cause i would like to know. I am bleeding quite a bit for even it being a period. Thanks alot.

i forgot to say...birth controls not 100% and you should be using condoms. and you not being able to take your pills correctly really lessens the effectiveness of brith control and him ejaculating inside of you really greatens your chance of getting pregnant...especially when he is doing that on the days you miss your pills

Usually, the bleeding is normal and is called breakthrough bleeding. Try not to stress about it and hold out until your actual period is due. Then take a home pregnancy test. Best of luck!
