Late Birth Control

I accidentally took my birth control pill about 6 hours late on Tuesday the 17th. Everyday after that has been right around the time that I usually take it. I had unprotected sex today on Monday the 23rd. He didn't finish inside me, however, I am still concerned if I should take the plan B pill?

Another question. I've been taking my pill around 10:15-11:45 every night. Is that still effective or should I make the timing more precise?

Don't take Plan B when you're already on the pill. You're already protected by being on the pill. The only time you need to worry about talking the bc pill at the same time daily is when you're on the mini pill, which has a much higher failure rate when it's taken later. But being on the ortho tri cyclen the timing isn't important as long as it's not something majorly late. Like 12 hours late would be pushing it but 6 hours is not a big deal.

To add on to this, I am on my first month of Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo that I started on Wed the 11th. 21 hormone pills, 7 placebo pills.
