You may want to look into the birthcontrol shots. Depo provera. You get one every three months, so you just have to remember that doctors appointment. Missing 2-3 pill a month you may as well be taking all sugar pills because you are not covered.
If you tie taking your pill to an activity, eat breakfast, take pill, or you can set your cell phone to go off at a certain time each day.
But unless you want to be called Momma - wouldn't be having sex without a back-up.
Yes, you can, if you are not using a back-up birth control method or if you are and the back-up fails. In fact, if you miss three or more with most, they tell you to start over again with a new pack. And the sugar pills don't really matter. They're just reminder pills so you start your new pack at the right time. From everything I've read, your pill needs to be taken 24 hours apart and not much longer if you do go past to be at maximum efficacy.
You need to try to remember to take them more consistently, if you want to ensure you don't get pregnant. I set an alarm on my cell phone, and even if I don't take my sugar pills, I at least pop them out when that alarm goes off so I keep track and start the new pack on the right day. Hope this idea will help you!
