Thanks girls!
I'm trying hard to find the right birth control pill, everything i've tried so far plays with my hamones SO much and i get irritated and b!tchy so easily =( I find i also have over the top mood swings. My doctor and i have tried about 3 different ones now that i saty on for abotu 4-5 months each but i havent found one that works well with me yet.

Anyone have any suggestions for a mild birth control pill... thats doesnt play on harmones too much?

Thanks!

Kim is right--there is no set number of times it will work.

But--its much less effective than using birth control in the first place.  So if you are having issues with condom breakage or other bc failures, you should really look at something more effective and use it on a regular basis.

i think it is effective still. if this is the third time you have had to take it....its telling you you should get on birth control in addition so you dont have to worry everytime you have sex

no no it's not that at all.
It's because at the beginning of january our condom broke and i took it. But it was the third time in my life that i had taken it and a few people said that it only worked a couple of times throughout a womans life... so i just though i'd double check it! =)

pretty much all the time. regarudless of when throughout her cycle she takes it. but it needs to be taken asap after sex and within 72 hours.

and you asked if it can be taking only a few times during our lives???? sounds like your using plan b as a form of birth control. if thats the case....get on birth control, use condoms or stop having sex
