Pregnant?

From my understanding there is a possibility of conception during and before your menstrual cycle.  I also read that there is a period of 24 hours before the egg is drop from the fallopian tube which is a window of opportunity.  My question is this, If I had sex last night and got my period this morning, say 15 hour gap, is there any possibility of me getting pregnant?should i get plan b?

Hello,
Pregnancy occurs only during the time of ovulation. Ovulation is the release of a single, mature egg from a follicle that developed in the ovary. It usually occurs regularly, around day 14 of a 28-day menstrual cycle. Intercourse just before periods will not result in pregnancy as the uterine endometrial lining has already been sloughed off the uterus.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Depends on when you ovulate and how long your cycles are if you got your period it's because the egg wasn't fertilized and that 24hr gap is actually 2weeks before your period is due
