Side effects of Plan B or something else?

Hello everyone, this is my first time writing in and I'm in need of some serious help...

I'm a 23 year old woman.   Back in Nov. 22, 2010 I had sex with a man that decided to take off the protection while I wasnt paying attention who claimed that it kept "slipping" off.   This was my second time of ever having sex, my first and only time was 4 years ago. When I realized this guy took off the protection, this was about 5 mins into the act, I immediately made him stop and got up and left.  The next morning, I woke up with a burning sensation in my stomach.  I wasnt sure what to make of it and I decided to wait it out and see what happens the next day if the pain would stop.  Two days after, I got scared that I might have gotten pregnant so I took the Plan B Morning After Pill and this was when wall hell broke loose.  I started feeling weak and the abdominal pain continued.  About 4 days after the act, I started having a fever which lasted for about 4.5 days.  I immediately knew there was something wrong.  I asked my partner to get tested for HIV and all other STDs.  He came out neg. for everything but I was still scared.  I decided to get tested myself at 8, 10, 11, 12, 14, and 16 weeks and results all came back negative.  I was also negative for all other STDs.  However bacteria was found in my urine so they're following up on that.  I went back to The doctor  last week who examined my cervix and said it was a bit inflamed and I'm now on 7-day course of antibiotics.  Since all of this happened, I have lost 7 pounds and having a hard time in regaining the weight that I lost.   I have shotty nodes in my groin which my doctor thinks are of no concern.  I have real bad abdominal pain from time-to-time which also radiates to my back and is only alleviated with painkillers.  The pain was pretty bad that I had an abdominal/pelvic ultrasound done and my organs looked fine, nothing out of the ordinary was found.   I've also noticed that I have very strange mood swings.  Sometimes, I'm in a good mood and sometimes I fee like I've hit rock bottom.  And also sometimes I feel extremely hot or I get a burning sensation on my back.   Even my monthly period cycle has changed.  It's not as heavy as it used to be, my period for last month lasted only 3 days and prior to this, my period always lasts at least 5.5 days. My questions are:

(1) Has any of you ever experienced this strange abdominal pain a day after sex ?
(2) Could the morning after pill cause all the other symptoms that I experienced or could it be something else?
(3) What would you guys advise me to do as I wait for my next appointment which is not until April 12th?
(4) If my cervix i inflamed, wouldnt i have tested positive for Gonorrhea or Chlamydia?
(5) If if helps, he was a bit on the large side, I don't know if that could have damaged my insides?

Looking forward to hearing from someone...

Hey, thanks so much for responding... its great to hear from someone else who has also taken the pill... I felt like I was going to die after taking that pill and I read few people died after taking the plan B pill.  I'll be sure to write in after my appointment.

Hello there..I can understand your concern. I took the Morning after pill in June last year. It did mess with my period alot. It was almost 43 days before I got my period again after taking it. I have experienced the abdominal pain after sex. I find that if the guy has been a bit rough or there wasnt enough lubrication that it can cause a bit of pain after. If the guy was a bit larger that could also be a reason for some discomfort.

Burning can also be from a urinary tract infection, which can be common after sex. To prevent them always empty your bladder before and after sexual intercourse. As for your cervix being inflamed. Im sure that if you did have an STD it would have come up positive. Maybe your hormones are out of balance? If you have been constantly stressing about this then that could very well effect your hormonal balance.

I would suggest not worrying about it until your doctors appoinment and theyve got more information for you. I hope you get this all sorted out. Best of luck =)
