Pregnant? Help!

Hello, I just had some brownish pinkish discharge that started and I'm worried it is implantation bleeding. I just had my period a week ago and I missed a pill a few days ago and took it the following day. I have been on birth control for years.

My boyfriend and I did have sex on the 2nd to last day of my period, but it was protected sex.

If this isn't implanation bleeding, what is it? We have been tested for stds and came back negative, and I have had no changes in diet or excersize recently!

Help!

Thank you for the help! As it turns out, everything was fine. A little known side effect of bendaryl is that it can trigger this to happen, and apparently it did!
Thank you for the help!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there,
It may be difficult to determine the exact cause only after complete evaluation. Brown discharge after a period may be remnants of older endometrial tissues which may be old blood. Taking 1 pill late should not lead to pregnancy though implantation bleeding is a possibility. Other causes of brown discharge are repeated yeast infections, pelvic inflammatory disease, bacterial vaginosis, cervical cancer, STDs.It is best to see a gynecologist to identify the cause of your problem. Treatment will depend on the cause. Do keep us posted.
Best of luck and kind regards!
