The morning after pill is only good up to 120 hours after unprotected sex, any time after that, you will just have to wait and see... And it should jump start your body into getting your period almost immediately to a few days after being used. I have used it once before many years ago, be careful... It has different effects on different women's bodies and it screwed mine up BAD. Get on birth control if you don't want a pregnancy. Condoms don't always work (I am currently pregnant because they don't always work). Also keep in mind that pre ejaculation has more sperm in it than actual ejaculation does. Good luck.
The morning after pill will not necessarily jump start your period to starting soon. It can delay your period as well. Effects vary from person to person and pill to pill. The morning after pill should be used sparingly (as in once in a great while), so as Arlandobloom stated, it would be better for you to get on a regular birth control regiment from here on out to greatly decrease your chances of getting pregnant. Accidents can and do happen with condoms. Using two forms of birth control is better than one.
Since he orgasmed earlier, it is possible the pre-ejaculate had some sperm in it unless he urinated in between to clean out. It is possible for you to get pregnant if you ovulate 3-5 days from today, so you may choose to take the morning after pill if you want to make sure. I used Plan B and had no negative effects, but each person can react differently from an early period to a delayed period to spotting, etc.
Thank you for the replies, we did the safe option and used the pill.
