Possible Pregnancy??

I've been on BC for almost 4 years now and I'm always really good about taking my pill. I have only not taken a pill once and that's because I left it on the table and walked away, but this time was different. Last week I was finishing up finals week and my bf and I had unprotected sex. That night (thu) I spent the night at the library finishing up my paper and the next day when I went to take my pill I realized I forgot to take the pill from the previous day so i took both. Then this week I went home to my parents house for dinner (tue), but it was storming so my dad said to spend the night. During that night I realized I had forgotten to take my pill that day. So when I went home in the afternoon I took 2. Yesterday I noticed some itching and thought oh no, a yeast infection. And today I have bright pink discharge along with the itching! I never had that happen before so I looked it up and a lot of sources said pink discharge is common when implantation happens?! So I'm freaking out wondering if the pink discharge is from taking 2 pills late this week, or is it because I'm pregnant? Please help me!

Well according to my BC I'm due for my period within the week. I just don't feel like this color discharge is the kind you get when you take a pill late because shouldn't it be more of a brownish color? I guess I will know by the end of this upcoming week. I really hope it's because I was late on two pills and/or just a really bad yeast infection!

Any time you miss a pill and have to take 2 at once (as you are supposed to do), you may have some spotting, so that's probably all it was.

However, there is also a very slightly increased risk of pregnancy with missed or late pills.  If you miss your next period, take a sensitive pregnancy test using a first morning urine and following the directions exactly.

I would not think you are pregnant, but it is not absolutely impossible, so set your mind at ease and take one if you don't get your next period on time.
