23 years old male nipple pain lumps

Hello,

Yesterday when i woke up, I felt pain in my right nipple (Just to make things clearer Im a 23 years old Man). The pain is continuous and some how minor, but if i touch it it intensifies and becomes unbearable.

I noticed that under the nipple there is something hard (I think its called Lumps) its size is a bit smaller than the nipple.

This is the second day and nothing has changed except that I think the pain is a bit less.

Im a male, 23 years old, in perfect health, was never sick, athletic, dont smoke, ...

Please I need advice from doctors this is really worrying me!!!

What are all the possible causes of this?

Thank you

Dear someuser:  Over the internet without ability to examine, question, evaluate it is impossible to say what is causing your pain and lump.  If this persists and/or worsens you may want to have it checked out by your doctor.

Male breast cancer is rare, but one out of every 150 cases of breast cancer involves a man, usually in men over 60 years old.  The most common sign is a painless breast lump.

Thanks a lot doctor for you answer.

So you are saying that I wait a little and then i check a doctor if this persist or worsens?

If I wait for 1 week will i regret it later if it turned out to be cancer? could it be too late for a cure?!

what is the specialty of the doctor that I should visit?

You made me feel better when saying that cancer signs would be painless lumps because what I have a a very painful lump!!

Thanks again doctor for you help :)
