Breast itching

A year ago I had some itching in my left breast (almost seemed to be coming from under the skin, nipple).  I also had a small scaly patch just under my nipple.  It lasted a couple of months and then went away.  It is now back and itches again.  I've read about IBC and pagets and wonder if it is either of these.  I had mamograms and was told they look great.  I also had breast reduction surgery 3 years ago.  Wondering if it could just be scar tissue itching.  I'm very nervous about it, but my doctor says it is fine.

Thank you.  Everyone else (doctors, etc) seem to just say everything is fine, I'm healthy, but I have something.  I'm scheduled with a dermatologist next week and for an ultra sound on the 8th of June with the breast clinic.  I'm just hoping since I had this a year ago that I'm not waiting too long.  Well it's not me that is waiting but the medical community who just seem to blow me off.  Thanks again for your thoughts.

What you describe could be due to scar tissue but this long after your breast reduction I would doubt that. I'm not suggesting IBC but this disease is rarely diagnosed by Mammogram or Ultrasound. If you are concerned about this then I suggest that you see a Breast Specialist or possibly even a Dermatologist about it. I'm quite sure you would get some answers from one or the other of those specialists. I wouldn't just let it go until I had a definite answer.    Regards ....
