Calcifications

I had a mammogram with results of "indeterminant calcificatrions with grouped distribution...."  Magnification mammography is recommended.  If the next mammogram says everything is okay, would you go ahead an insist on a biopsy?

Actually, my biopsy is next Friday.  I'll post my results when I find out.

Thanks for the info.  I think I will insist on a biopsy just to be sure.  This is so very scary and I have heard of wrong diagnoses.  I guess your biopsy was benign?

I had a mammogram then got called back for magnification mammogram after which the radiologist took me to a room, shut the door and talked to me about a biopsy.  My doctor called me later that evening (a call I missed), then early the next morning and told me to get a biopsy now and not wait.  I would get a biopsy because if it's indetermined, how I understand it, the doctor doesn't know if  it's benign or malignant.
