I also had Hodgkins. Mine was at 16 I had 2 surgeries and also 16 weeks radiation...no chemo.. Then at 41 developed Thyroid cancer and went through 2 surgeries and radiation. Now I have had numerous mammograms and ultrasound, 5 needle core biopsies. Just had a sugical biopsy 4 days ago and am awaiting results. If they tell me its cancer again I will do any treatments. Never had chemo so I can't sympathize  with you there. Let me know how things are going..

It sounds as if you have a good doctor.  He is looking out for you and being careful.  My friends Mam had breast cancer 3 years ago and had chemo.  2.5 years later she was so unlucky for it to reoccur.  She is now on her third type of chemo and this one seems to be working, thank God.  So it did not seem to be a problem for her and to be honest she was very worn out by the time they tried the 3rd chemo.  Having said that, she is doing great and getting strong day by day.  Depending on your diagnosis, maybe only radiotherapy and surgery will be needed.  I'm sure you will get good advise from the doctors, but just try to take one step at a time.  You are a fighter having already beated Hodgkins and I know it is **** getting cancer again.  Please God you will win the battle again like so many women on this website.

There are many different types of chemo....what does your oncologist say?   There are many women who have recurrences of breast cancer and go through chemo again...for long periods.
