I would think that result would mean that there may be some congestion involving the milk ducts which might be producing this discharge. Actually breast discharge isn't all that unusual. It is good though that a sample of the fluid was sent to the Lab. The milk ducts are often involved in some process that isn't quite normal and some discharge will be produced as a result. This should be watched and the recommendations seem very reasonable. Regards .... OH, be sure that your Mother isn't stimulating the nipple area in any way ... like squeezing the breast which will only produce more discharge.
