LUMPS AND RED PLACES ON SKIN NEAR NIPPLE

HI I HAVE HAD CANCER IN BOTH BREAST I NOW HAVE SOME BUMPS AND RED SPOTS NEAR MY BREAST I AM GOING FOR A BIOPSY ON TUS BUT I WONDERED IS THERE SOMETHING ELSE THIS COULD BE OTHER THAN PAGENTS DESIESE OF THE BREAT SOME OF THE SYTOMS ARE CLOSE BUT NOT QUITE THE SAME IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE THAT WOULD HAVE BEE BE SZ LUMPS AND RED SPOTS?

It could be an alergic reaction to chemicals used in your bra. Herpes, or just a heat rash (if it's hasn't been there for long.)
It also could be infamatory breast cancer (the worst kind of breast cancer)
I sincerly hope it is an alergy & not infamatory beast cancer.

Dear MARGB:  Pagets disease of the breast usually presents as a crusting, scaling condition of the nipple.  It does not usually present as red spots near the breast.  Having said that, if you have had invasive breast cancer, it is possible for there to be recurrence on the skin.  However, breast skin is like other skin and is subject to other abnormalities and rashes as well.  A biopsy will help to determine what this is and give direction for treatment moving forward.
