Hi,
Most nipple discharges are caused by benign conditions and is rarely a sign of breast cancer.
Discharge from the nipples when they are squeezed, increases the Prolactin hormone level and the more you squeeze the nipple the more the discharge will continue. So I would advise you to avoid nipple stimulation.
Benign breast discharge can be caused by many factors, such as blood pressure medication, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and certain anti-anxiety medications.Fibrocystic breast changes can, at times, cause secretion of clear, white, yellow, or green nipple discharge. Some women, when approaching or going through menopause, may also experience breast itchiness.
Fortunately, this condition is rarely a sign of breast cancer, but for your own peace of mind, you could consult a Breast Specialist, because nipple discharge needs to be investigated when it’s "spontaneous" and especially if it's bloody, persistent, or is associated with a lump, nipple or skin changes etc...
Best wishes...
