Result of stereotactic right breast core biopsies

The final pathological diagnosis on my pathology report reads:

1. calcifications associated with sclerosing adenosis, apocrine metaplasia and ductal hyperplasia without atypia.

2. sclerosing adenosis and duct ectasis.

Can you explain to me what it means?

Dear Linda225:  Sclerosing adenosis is an overgrowth of cells in the lobules of the breast.  Apocrine metaplasia is more commonly known as a "fibrocystic change."  Ductal hyperplasia is an overgrowth of cells in the ducts of the breast.  All of these are benign conditions and do not increase your risk of breast cancer.

I had a biopsy done and the findings were calcifications associated with sclerosing adenosis, apocrine metaplasia and ductal hyperplasia too. I am interested in knowing exactly what that means. My biopsy was about 4 weeks ago and now I am having bleeding from the same duct that was causing the bleeding before my biopsy. My dr took a culture to have it checked out and i will know the results by the end of the week. Is this normal to have happen after a biopsy?
