intramammary lymph nodes

Mammogram and ultrasound found 3 intramammary lymph nodes.  MRI showed the same.  Was seen by a surgeon and want to wait 3 months and do another ultrasound.  Family history of breast cancer.  Mother had BC twice ages 43 and 50.  I am 44.  Should I wait for 3 months  for another ultrasound or should a biopsy be preformed.

There is another bc forum here. Physicians from other places are much more willing to answer a question there. I have never heard one answered here.

Dear Beth1240:  Without reviewing the mammogram, ultrasound, and MRI as well as doing a clinical breast examination, it is impossible for us to speculate on what should be done at this juncture.  If you are uncomfortable with the recommendation, it may be a good idea to seek a second opinion, preferably from a breast specialist.  These are often affiliated with large academic medical centers.
