I finally got the ultrasound results, Please help me understand it. (I'm 27 ) "at the site of the palpable lesion at the 4 O'clock position in the right breast is an oval well cirumscribed wider than tall hypoechoic nodule which is mildly lobulated measuring 2.5x1.3x2.4cm. Smaller similar nodule is seen at 9 O'clock measuring 7x4x6mm. I would recommend that a percutaneous ultrasound guided needle biopsy of the lesion at 4 O'clock be obtained to prove the diagnosis. It may represent a fibroadenoma, but a phyllodes tumor would have to be considered in the diffirential diagnosis".
From what i have been reading, all the ultrasound findings are the same fibroadenoma characteristics. Why does the radiologist is also considering Phyllodes tumor. What's suspicious in the result report? I have a biopsy scheduled in few days and I am a nervous wreck.. please help me better understand those results.
