If this is something where your bra line is I don't think it's anything to be very worried about. If you have all these hormonal problems that you mention here then you should see your Dr. for a clinical breast exam and have him/her inspect this dimpled area. You are correct that it is VERY rare indeed that a 16 year old would have a serious breast issue. Anything new or different that you notice should always be checked out by either your Physician or the N.P. just to be sure and explain it to you since they know all your past medical records and are familiar with your problems. It is common during the teen years and even beyond to have several issues related to the hormone changes that are taking place in your body. Regards .....
I told my Mom about this, I scheduled a doctors appointment for tomorrow. My period sometimes brings me VERY bad craps, dizziness, breast tenderness pain, a ball that grows under my arm pit during my period leaves then comes back for my next period and so on. My parents get surprised with this none of my sisters have all these issues when their periods come only me. I know my period is coming and my Dad said maybe the dimple is another weird things my menstrual cycle brings, from the things I read on the internet it says that dimpling is a breast cancer sign that's why i'm worried and not ignoring this at all.
That is true but that is only because something beneath the skin may be pulling the skin inward. This could easily be a cyst or fibroadenoma (a benign breast tumor) and wouldn't necessarily be due to a malignant tumor.
I'm glad you have talked to your Mom ad have an appointment with the Dr.
Be sure you ask all the questions you need answered while you are there. You obviously have some hormonal problems so you may continue to have them and you need to understand as much as possible about what may occur in the future. Don't leave the office with questions, OK ??
I just came from the doctors. She knows my period is coming this week or next, she wants to wait for it to come and see how my breast react. When I got there she touched around both my breasts and the dimple, the dimple is slight she kinda had trouble seeing it she told me there is no bump just the dimple. The color of my breasts are normal there is no breast cancer history in my family and she said that's good. If this doesn't change she wants to run tests. I am still so scared that this might be something bad but my period messes with my head and I don't know what to think. I'm praying and hoping for the best.
I don't think you need to worry so much about the breast issue. Hormones can really stir up things, both mentally and physically so try to relax and things will most likely resolve themselves in time. Take care now.
