ductal papilloma

Had surgical "biopsy"/lumpectomy 6 mos ago, at follow up mammo had bloody nipple discharge, surgeon advised to wait 6wks, let breast "rest", still had bloody discharge on exam, I am scheduled for ductal excision of probable papilloma. My original pathology report was atypical hyperplasia w/ microcalcifications. What other questions should I ask about? Thanks.

Not sure about what questions you might have .....  and ductal excision is a relatively simple procedure. Papillomas can be either benign or cancerous so any further treatment as you know will depend on the Path. report. Did you receive any treatment following your previous surgery?   Regards ....
