Hi
Dr Bhumika is non longer answering question on this Forum, but since I read your post I  hope that this information will help you.If you have more questions, you will be better served if you start own new post by clicking on "Post a question"on the green rectangle (Top of the page).

Physiological nipple discharge usually occurs in both breasts and happens only when the breast tissue is manipulated in some way, such as by squeezing the nipple to check for discharge.
The discharge may be clear, yellow, white or dark green.
Stimulation of the nipple actually increases the likelihood of discharge, so it's best to leave your nipples alone and avoid checking them. This type of discharge often resolves on its own.

An inflamed duct (mammary duct ectasia)
Mammary duct ectasia is one of the most common conditions related to abnormal nipple discharge.
It causes one or more of the ducts beneath your nipple to become inflamed and clogged with a thick, sticky substance that's green or black. Most often, it affects women in their 40s and 50s.
You can relieve some of your symptoms by applying warm compresses to your breast.
Taking aspirin or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as ibuprofen, may help relieve some symptoms. Also, your doctor may prescribe antibiotics to clear up any infection.
In some cases, surgery might be necessary to remove the affected duct.

If I were you I would make an appointment with the doctor...you might be having an infection and you need to have this problem checked out. Take care..

Hi,

A nipple discharge is significant and needs to be investigated further if it -
- is persistent,
- comes out without squeezing the breasts or any stimulation,
- is bloody or foul smelling or altered,
- is associated with a lump, nipple or skin changes etc.

What is your age? Have you noticed any abnormal features on breast self examination like a breast lump, nipple discharge , skin changes etc?

You could consult your doctor for a clinical breast examination to clear out any doubts that you have.

Do let us know if you have any more doubts and keep us posted on how you are doing.

Hope this helps.

Good luck.
