Breast skin discoloration

On one breast, almost overnight, an area the size of a nickel right next to my nipple became discolored (slightly lighter than the nipple color - reddish brown).  A few weeks later, a much more translucent (same color) patch appeared on the bottom of my breast and then a few weeks later, two tiny dots on the side.  I was hoping it was some sort of abrasion or allergy, but it has not gone away and I'm quite concerned.  There's no history of breast cancer in my family and I'm 39 yrs old.

Any thoughts as to the cause? :(

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Dear YoAd6:  Skin on the breast is like skin anywhere else on the body and is subject to a variety of abnormalities. Without examination, we cannot speculate on what this might be.  Our recommendation is to make an appointment with your doctor (or a dermatologist).

Hi,

Was there any pain associated with the lesion? Did you have any injury or trauma at the site? Are you lactating presently? Was there a similar lesion at the same time or any other location on your body previously? Did you have any infections previously?

You should show this to your doctor or a dermatologist. Its unlikely that it is a cancer since it appeared in such a short period (overnight), but it would be best if a proper examination is done.

Let me know if you have other doubts and what the doctor says.

Regards.
