Discovering breast lumps at 10

Hi there, when i was ten, i noticed that there was a swelling at first in my right breast, and i thought  it was cancer because i had access to medical bokks, that dealt with relating symptoms, and diseases. i was quite bothered. A week after, there was another small lump in my left breast, and i was so worried. i never told anyone, because i felt the worst that could happen was to die, and i was not ready to let my mom go through any stress.
I constantly checked the book,  Symptoms byIsadore Rosenfeld, and when iread the rule of sevens, i was quite relieved.  Over the years ,the lumps grew in both breasts, and felt like it filled my breasts. Sometimes they were so painful that  i would have to sit upright and clenching my fists to breathe. Am now 21, and do not experience so much pain. What should i do to have the lumps removed?

Don't worry Jasmine, probably is just fibroadenomas or cysts. I also found two lumps that where fibroadenomas in my breast when i was 20 years old and i still have them 20 years after. I think you should go to the doctor to have an ultrasound and i'm 100% sure that everything will be fine.

Thank you very much for reply. I was raised by a single mom, until recently. Idid not want to  be a bother because she did not have so much, but in her own way, made sure I had what I needed. Thank you once again.

These no doubt are either cysts or Fibroadenomas; both of which are likely benign. First I would suggest that you put the Medical books aside and see your Dr. regarding the removal of these lesions. They can be removed but are often just left alone and there is no guarantee that they will not continue to develop as you more than likely have Fibrocystic Breast Condition which affects nearly one half of all women. you may be advised some measusres to help reduce the future development of more cysts. I must apologze for smiling at the thought of a 10 yr. old diagnosing her breast condition and deciding NOT to take any action regarding it .... where was your Mother during all this or any parent for that matter ? Please seek a consultation from a currently licensed Physician.  Kindest regards ....
