probably a stupid question

I have posted my story here in past posts, but have another question. I have a lump, nothing showed up on the ultrasound so I am going for a biopsy next weds.
I have a strange pain now in my coller bone area, seems to be getting more than just annoying, worse. It is not extremely painful but always there.
My question is, if this is cancer is it possible that it is spreading? Can you feel it like that?
I feel so silly, because I know how this sounds...but it is a real pain, not created. I am just so worried.

You poor girl, I can relate to your pain, literally!

I also have had pain in the right breast on and off for 3 years, but didn't actually find a lump until late Oct of this year.

About 1 week after finding the lump (and still having consistant breast pain in that area) my collarbone, right arm, and right subscapular area started to hurt.  So in my mind I had advanced cancer too!

My mammogram and ultrasound also did NOT detect the lump in question and I have a surgical biopsy  scheduled for this Monday, Dec. 17th.  I am so happy that I will soon know what the heck is going on.

I pray that all will be fine for you.  Remember the odds are in our favor, usually 80% of all lumps are benign.

Holiday blessings!

Hi,
RELAX , RELAX,& RELAX.
There is no concern to your worry. The pain around your collar does not seem to be related to the lump in your breast.
Since the sonogram has been inconclusive, it is better to go ahead with the biopsy. This for sure would allay any fears about the malignancy.
Good luck

Hi,
Relax and do not worry. Go ahead with the biopsy because that is the only way to know for sure if you have a cancer or not. Pain could be caused due to a multiple causes and cancer being the least possible cause. You need to discuss all your symptoms and reports in detail with your doctor so that he can tell you what he is keeping as the most probable diagnosis in your case. Also get a copy of the biopsy report from the lab.
