I seen the surgeon today.  Its been 12 days since my lumpectomy (almost a partial mastectomy) on two spots.  12 whole days!!!  And now they tell me it could be another week before I get the results.  I thought it was bad enough waiting around 15 weeks between my abnormal mammogram to my surgery.    But now  I am going crazy with all the waiting for the results.  ( I live in Canada )  Thats it ..lol..I just had to spout off.

I can't believe it's taking so long. I had a stereotactic biopsy on Friday morning, and my doctor had the pathology report on Monday afternoon. The next day her nurse made appointments for me with the surgeon and the oncologist. I'm seeing the surgeon tomorrow and the oncologist on Tuesday. It's all happening very fast. I live in a small city (120,000 people), and maybe that's why things are going a little faster for me.

I hope you hear soon. The waiting is the worst part, IMHO.

Feel free to spout off any time!  I have been waiting only 5 days since a Mammogram and Ultrasound until my biopsy and it's killing me!  I have my biopsy Friday and it's really making me crazy.  Really, really crazy!    Then I will have to wait for those results.  I can only imagine how you must feel after 12 days!  I will say prayers for peace and humor for you during your waiting time!  Take care!
