If anybody has any great ideas they'd like to see here in this community, please post here! I came up with the idea of a daily scripture. What do you all think?
I still view this as a miracle, even if it is a small one. I was at my senior year at high school. With my parents both jobless at the time we could not afford senior portraits. Since I volunteered at the church video ministry, we managed to find someone who has a great joy taking pictures. She offered to take the photos. The video crew opened up their studio, and the lighting man offered to help with the lighting and effects.
We had a date planned. I got dressed, put on some make-up (which I tend to only do when dressing up for something.) Everything was going smoothly - until we stopped to eat and I locked the keys in the car. It would take too long to call triple A and I was growing anxious. In spite of all the panic of emotions, I remembered to pray.
Just then someone pulled in next to us. She saw me stressed out. I told her about the event coming up and the locked keys. She offered to take me to the church. With a strange sense of confidence, I took her up on the offer. She wouldn't take anything in return. Along the way, she told me that it would go well, that I'd really enjoy myself.
Sure enough it all went well. My dad came in later after the insurance unlocked the doors. It was an awesome time. Whether or not it was an angel encounter, I don't know. It could be God sent just the right person at the right time. I believe that's how God works much of the time.

Awesome story! Just like the story in the Bible about Elijah being fed by the widow and her son and the oil never ran out while he stayed with her.
Have you ever read Corrie Ten Boom's book, "The Hiding Place"? It's an awesome book about when she and her family were discovered hiding Jews during WWII and were thrown into a prison camp. She talks about the many miracles that happened while they were there, including when she received a vial of liquid vitamins and shared them with her fellow women prisoners and it didn't run out for a very long time, even though it was a small bottle and there were many women. It didn't run out until she got some more in the mail. I love her book!
And I love to hear about the miracles God provides for all His children! Thanks for sharing. :)

I was about 10 years old and we lived in alarge house heated by oil. We lived on welfare so money was tight. We heated stones on the stove during the day time to take to bed and keep warm at night. Money was real short and mom knew the oil was getting low. She prayed that the oil would last a little longer.She went out to measure the oil and it was full. She thought the measing gage was broken. I went back out with her and it still said full. We used that tank of oil the whole winter without ever putting additional oil in. It usually needed some every month. Mom always referred to that as her angel oil man. God still performs miracles,.
I love it! Yes, I did a journal on miracle stories a long time ago and loved hearing everyone's stories. Maybe it's time we refresh it again!
Some may find this dorkey but maybe just have a place where people that feel lead could tell an example of miriacles in there life.
I like the verse. So many times you may be posting just the right verse for someone that is hurting. Sometimes our greatest missionary work is unknown.

I def like having you post a Scripture every day. :-) I like MJ's ideas and you can also go to Bible Gateway. I have my favorite web sites marked with a star so as soon as I click w they all come up. It's very helpful. :)

Do you guys like me posting a scripture each day? Or was that a dumb idea? Anyone can respond to it if they like or even post one of their own.

You can also google any scripture you want it helps me out a lot!
I would like a community pages/ refrence page like the original forums have so its easier to find scriptures such as for me I have anxiety and to have scriptures at the push of a button would be handy!

I was thinking it would be great to have a thread where we can all link to videos of encouraging or supportive music, or just any uplifting tune within reason.
