First round of clomid

I took clomid on cd 5-9. I am now on cd 13 and I haven't noticed ovulation yet. I did notice pain in my right ovary on the last day I took the clomid. I usually ovulate from my right ovary. I decided not to use an opk because I can detect ovulation on my own by my cm. Without clomid I usually ovulate between cd 11-13 so I'm hoping I haven't missed it somehow. I know clomid affects cm also. I feel a little bloated today also which is weird. Do you think I have missed when I ovulated?

I have confirmed that I ovulated because on Friday my temp went up drastically and is still up today. So I guess it happened last week sometime. I didnt have the ewcm but it was watery. I guess I can blame the clomid for that. I also felt soreness in my uterus. Hopefully we didn't miss it. We normally BD atleast everyday but last week we skipped a day here and there. I really hope it works because I am at the age where I feel like I am running out of time. Thank you for your advice. I will be sure to get an OPK for next time.

The first month I took clomid I didn't ovulate until the 10th day past the last pill I took.  Very late for me.  I took it cycle days 3-7.  The second month I ovulated on day 14 of my cycle so 7 days past the last pill.  I am now on 100mg and am taking my first dose tonight.  I know that I was in ALOT of pain the first month I ovulated, I couldn't even sit down too hard without feeling a sharp pain in my uterus.  The second month, it wasn't as severe but I could definitely tell I was ovulating...lasted 3 days I believe.  You cannot miss it, I do recommend you using OPKs though and temping, because you can still have fertile mucus with an-ovulatory cycles.  The OPK will detect your surge, but that does not mean you will actually ovulate.  If you get a temp spike along with that surge then you know for certain you ovulated that month.  Confusing stuff I know.  GOOD LUCK!!!
