Clomid Help could do with someone to chat too

Please bare with me im new this so i may be abit long winded. I was prescribed clomid 100mg because i wasnt ovulating and i took it day 2-6 of period have had the hot flushes but not been too bad until a week ago which would be a week since i had the clomid ive had pain in my abdominal area quite severe that it has actually knocked me off work. I struggle mainly when im standing and walking. Any ideas?? is this ovulation pain ? is this normal?? I dont know if i have ovulated tried the test but negative.I have been charting temperature and i took a huge dip a few days ago. Im wanting reassurance really because the docs dont seem to have a clue and i dont see specialist for 2weeks so wanted to ask for other people experiences to help me. Thanks

I was also told my specialist that the opk might not work when on clomid so hope that helps too. But let me know how u get on. Goodluck! x

I'm so glad you O'd, that's a step in the right direction. (The pain will be worth it in the end, I'm sure). You give me hope that perhaps I just screwed up my home tests--at this point,I just want to O, then I can concentrate on the bigger picture :-)

So your home OPK's were always neg, but when you got your CD21 workup, you HAD O'd? I'm getting my test on Fri and haven't had a +OPK yet. I also had really bad cramping during Clomid (1st round, 100mg), then had more mild cramping a week later...now my nipples seem weird (darker, kinda puffy).

Hi Hun.. I was always on my first round of clomid last month and was a bust. AF came yesterday.  Everything you wrote I went through; I was so bloated I looked 2 months prego.  A day after my last pill I had cramps so bad that I could not move and walking was BAD “thank GOD it was in bed already” it went on for a couple of days and I was constipated for 2 weeks ....  All my OPK's were neg. I had no idea what was going on.  I call my OB/GYN and went in for an ultrasound.  They saw a lot of follicles.  This was great but no help... I had no idea if I O.  So this month I am going to see a RE that I went to a year ago to get basic testing done.  I know it ***** when you body is going nuts and you don’t know what to do.  I was just there.  But you did the right thing and made an appt with a specialist.  That is what I did.. Good luck SSBD!!!!!
