Pancreas

I am so worried. Last week I had a cat scan after 3 years of tummy tenderness and back pain. Three years ago I also had a scan and it said I had mild pancreatitus, but this scan says something about the head of the pancreas. Tonight I am going for an MRI to rule out any lesions. I had some slight bleching last week that is almost gone, my stools seem fine, just the back/tummy pain exists. I have also had some slight fluctiations in my temperature. Anybody elose gone thru this? I'd like to know your story.

HI Sandra, have they done any blood work?  It could be an infection.  Have they also checked your colon?

Hi, ty for responding. So far no blood work, I dont know why. I did have some blood work done on the same day( as the bun creton test for the sca/mri) by another Dr. which I forgot about to check my kidney, liver functions. I should call him about that. hmmm I am going to a gastroilogist on Friday because she is going to read the results for me,( MRI) and 3 years ago, I did have a clonoscopy and passed with  flying colors, so they didnt mention anything else. For 3 years, Ive had back pain due to herniated disks, so if I had radiating back pain due to the pancreas, I didnt notice, I only noticed different back pain like pain/aches and attributed it all to the herniations. An infection? This can cause all of this? wow! Now maybe, just maybe I have a little hope, cause an inection they can fix. Ive been crying for days and nights and depression has creeped in big time.
