Please help, this had been going on for a year now.

My mom has had an enlarged spleen a few times, right now it's a 12.8.  There is a lump on it.  She also has lower right abdominal pain, has had diarrhea for 9 days now.  Has sweats, her nails detached, her hair didn't grow for four months.  Stomach is bloated.  Pain on her spine just below the shoulder blades.  Pain running down her right leg, sometimes, Has had numerous CT all negative, MRI's all negative, thyroid negative. colonoscopy, negative, blood work for lukemia negative twice.  WE have Pancreas cancer, colon cancer. bowel cancer, and stomach cancer run in the immediate family.  Can you give me some ideas so we help the Dr. out???  She is about done with all Dr.s.

I think u mus tgo for liver and kidney tests.
Intermittently enlarging spleen does not indicate cancer
Anemia can be a cause.

Please tell her don't give up on finding out what is wrong with her.  Eventually, there will be that one physician that will take her seriously and investigate her situation.

Ask for the the Upper Endoscopy, I can't say what in particular to look for.  I just think it will provide some answers based on the symptoms you have listed and your family history.  This scope will view the esophagus, stomach and the beginning of the small intestine.  They can also take biopsies at that time too.

She sees one at U of M on Dec 2nd, and that is to far away to wait.  She hates going to Dr. because she thinks the dr's will think she is a hypercondriac.  My mom has really never had to see a Dr. for anything until now. She has always been healthy until now.   I am calling U of M to see if we can get her in sooner.  I will ask about the Upper Endoscopy.  Thank you.  Is there something particular they should look for?

Well, try to get her OFF the Cymbalta; the physician is basically writing her off as "psych."

Has she seen a GI Specialist?  I would recommend she consult one for an Upper Endoscopy.

She has sweats, sometimes she had a problem walking up and down steps.  Her Dr. put her on Cymbalta to get the pain out of her head.  I was upset with that.  Some weight loss/gain.

I know she has had a bone marrow test done, and that was negative.

I'm not sure, I know on the palm of her hands she gets like a rash and has some small blisters that are filled with fluid sometimes.
