Stage IV - Wondering how long she might have?

My mother has been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of her left lung.  The PET scan has shown cancer/activity in the left posterior 10th rib, left upper arm bone, and thoracic spine.  What will be her ~ life expectancy?

It does and thank you!  Except I'm not sure what 14% for 5 years means in terms of how many months my mom has to live.  She is going to get the radiation and chemo.  If you can help further, with an idea. I would be much appreciative.

Thank you.

Stage IV: Using this system, outcomes are best for patients with early stages of disease, with small tumours, no spread to lymph nodes, and no distant spread (metastasis) to other organs. Outcomes are also better for younger patients. Overall, despite treatment, 5-year survival for all types of lung cancer is not good: 11% for males and 14% for females. Survival for squamous cell carcinoma is better than that for large cell carcinoma and small cell lung cancer, though slightly worse than for adenocarcinoma.

Hope this helps.
