There are two main types of breast cancer:
Ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), or intraductal carcinoma, is breast cancer in the lining of the milk ducts that has not yet invaded nearby tissues. It may progress to invasive cancer if untreated.
Lobular carcinoma in situ (LCIS) is a marker for an increased risk of invasive cancer in the same or both breasts.
I asked the question as i wondered if coughing excessively could have irritated and inflamed the lining of the colon. I have been for lots of procedures recently as well as in hospital stays since posting in Feb, sorry i didn't reply. I have been diagnosed with diverticular desease in the descending colon.I have a colon polyp an extra long colon and a stricture in the sigmoid. I've had a failed colonoscopy and failed sigmoidoscopy. A Barium Enema. A CT tomonography and a CT Colonography. All of which have not given a clear indication as to whether it is a malignant or benign stricture. I'am due to have a flexi sigmoidoscopy with a tiny tube to see if they can get through to see clearer on the 2nd Sept 2011 and on the 6th Sept i'am due to have a sigmoidectomy. It's scaring the hell out of me as no-one seems to know what is going on.
Have you been diagnosed with colon cancer?
I believe I answered another post of yours.
I don't see the connection between colon cancer and increased coughing/wheezing.
