giant cell tumor of distal femur

I am 62 yrs old & had a giant cell tumor removed from my distal femur , 3 months ago.  I am still having pain up the back of my knee.  How long will it take for me to get well.  My femur was packed with cemet & 3 rods.

THANKS FOR THE COMMENT,  I AM BEGINING TO REALIZE THAT I  AM PUSHING TOO  FAST.  I HAVE STARTED BACK USING 1 CRUTCH IT HELPS TO TAKE SOME OF THE PRESURE OFF         CBPGIANT

Hi.  Since your bone surgery is extensive, it may take you around six months, at the very least, to recover from the operation.  Even if your surgical wound has already healed, you will probably need a lot of physical therapy sessions to restore the function of your knee, and to reduce the pain.  The fact that you're 62 also means that healing will be slower, compared to someone who is say, in his twenties or thirties, and had the same surgery.
