Lymphadenitis can be caused from many things including a virus. Not neccessarily HIV. You should get it checked out. Doesn't hurt to get some blood work to see what your blood count looks like.
Lymph nodes can swell when your fighting a cold, flu, virus, and more severe problems like cancers.
Three weeks is a long time for lymph nodes to stay swollen. Hope you get it checked out! Good luck! :)
I think is time to make an appointment. didn't know 3 months was a lot of time..
im so scared
Thanks,,
Don't be scared...I've had enlarged lymph nodes for several months. I was diagnosed with lymphadenitis. This is probably because I've had so many lymph nodes removed because the cancer I had. I am told I am in remission now...but I still experiance swollen lymph nodes just as you described. Even now I deal with pain from them.
Please don't let what I say alarm you. I just think it's wise to have a doctor check it out. Someone you trust will listen to you and actually feel the lymph nodes and do the proper tests if neccessary.
Good luck!
Please let me know how it goes!
