Hi. The fundus refers to the dome-like top portion of the uterus. "Echogenic" refers to the ultrasound characteristics of the mass. It means that the mass is made up of a solid/dense material which tends to bounce off a lot of sound waves, and appears on ultrasound as a whitish opacity (fluid and fat tends to absorb ultrasound waves, and appears dark). So what your ultrasound report is saying is that a roughly 7 centimeter solid mass was seen on the top of your uterus. The exact nature of that mass (whether it's cancerous or not) is still undetermined at this point. You'll probably need a biopsy to do that.
